The introduction of the new PA-8800 processor enables HP to now put two CPU cores on a single chip with the same socket. As a result, HP 9000 Superdome Server can now scale to 128 processors delivering the raw power needed to perform any compute intensive task.

The family of HP 9000 Superdome's family of servers scale from four CPUs all the way to 128-processors with 1 TB of memory, hard and soft partitioning and 32GB of peak I/O.
